Our Story
Mask VPN was founded by three cybersecurity students at Baruch College who shared a passion for privacy and ethical technology. Witnessing the rapid shift toward a fully digital world and experiencing cybersecurity incidents firsthand on campus, they were inspired to take control and create real solutions. Our team combines hands-on technical expertise with a user-focused approach, delivering services that are both secure and easy to use.
We specialize in building privacy-first solutions using trusted open-source tools like WireGuard, Pi-hole, and Unbound, all hosted on AWS for reliable, high-performance operation. From encrypting internet traffic to blocking trackers and malicious links, our services are designed to protect every device on your network without compromising speed or usability.
The idea for Mask VPN came from firsthand experiences: as students and daily internet users, we noticed how frequently ads, trackers, and unsecured connections compromised privacy and slowed down online activity. We wanted a solution that didn’t just hide your IP but empowered users to take back control over their digital lives.
